As part of its public information and education mandate, the BC Treaty Commission aims to keep the public informed about developments in the made-in-BC treaty negotiations process.

To do this, we:

• regularly produce news releases commenting on current events and developments related to negotiations;
• are increasingly using our digital communications such as: video and social media, email distribution updates, blog;
• host and partner on events that offer education and information sharing on different aspects of treaty negotiations and build capacity among First Nations approaching self-government.
