Kate is a Communications Advisor and joined the Treaty Commission in February 2024.  In her role, she supports communication initiatives and conducts research related to Indigenous rights, modern treaties, and reconciliation.

Previously, Kate worked in communications for several non-profit organizations such as the Canadian Institute in Greece and the University of Toronto’s International Relations Department.

She holds an Honours BA with High Distinction in International Relations and Anthropology from Victoria College in the University of Toronto. Kate served as Vice-President of Victoria College’s student union, and President of the University of Toronto’s Women in International Affairs Club.
