OVERVIEW

As part of its public education and information mandate, the BC Treaty Commission occasionally hosts or partners on conferences and forums. The Commission aims to share information, raise awareness, and educate, inform and support building capacity within First Nations approaching self-governance and treaty implementation. Conferences offer attendees many advantages, such as opportunities to hear from multiple voices and chances to engage with one another in person on good practices and challenges.
