Lheidli T’enneh Treaty
The Lheidli T’enneh Treaty was initialed in May 2018, after it had been updated after a ‘no’ vote in 2007. In June 2018 the First Nation held a second ratification vote and the community voted not to accept the treaty. The Parties have since pursued other arrangements outside of the negotiations process.
Yale First Nation Final Agreement
The Yale First Nation Final Agreement was ratified by Yale First Nation on March 12, 2011, by the BC legislature on June 2, 2011, and by the Government of Canada on June 19, 2013, when it received Royal Assent by Parliament. The effective date has been postponed.

In March 2025, the signatories to the Tla’amin Final Agreement amended the Title to “ʔaʔǰɩnxʷegəs,” which mean “a good relationship with someone” in ʔayʔaǰuθəm (Tla’amin language).
