Yekooche Nation

The Yekooche treaty table is in Stage 5 negotiations to finalize a treaty. For an update on the table please refer to our latest annual report. 

Yekooche traditional territory is near Stuart Lake, Cunningham Lake, and Lake Babine. There are approximately 225 Yekooche members.

Yekooche has overlapping and/or shared territory with its First Nation neighbours: Lake Babine, Burns Lake, Nadleh Whut’en, Nak’azdli, Stellat’en, Takla, Tl’azt’en, and Treaty 8.
